Little Dot is now 1! I seriously can't believe it!!! It seems like she was just born last month. She sure has had a busy first year...she was in the hospital twice (not counting when she was born), had surgery, was diagnosed with a rare birthmark, been to California twice, been to Wendover a couple times, went to Idaho falls, is part of the Marines (thanks to her daddy) and got her ears pierced. Yesterday we had a birthday party for the little one and of course the theme was Dora the Explorer. Little Dot was all dressed up in her adorable birthday outfit that gwanny bought her. Here's a picture of the birthday girl with her Auntie.....so HAPPY!!!
Then the birthday girl started getting cranky....
Then time for the birthday cake! Little Dot was not interested into eating the cake and I ended up stuffing cake in her mouth!!!
Little Dot ended up crying the whole time while we all sang happy birthday and never once touched her cake! Guess it just was too much excitement for this girl! Oh well, next year she will understand a little more whats going on.
